John Tolbert – Executive V.P., IMI Resort Holdings

Prior to joining IMI, Tolbert served as president of sales and marketing for LXR Luxury Resorts (LXR). Previously, he also held the position of resort manager at The Ritz-Carlton, Naples, and spent eight years as vice president of sales and marketing for Boca Resorts, Inc. (BRI), a collection of Florida resorts and clubs.

Tolbert’s career includes his service as senior vice president of the Los Angeles–based International Hotel Academy, parent company of Grand Wailea Resort & Spa on Maui and the Biltmore Hotel in Los Angeles. He also held executive sales and marketing positions with the El Conquistador in Puerto Rico and Hyatt Hotels and Resorts in various locations including Honolulu, Waikoloa on the Island of Hawaii, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C.
